Tomas Berdych loses to Nick Kyrgios twice in six days

Nick Kyrgios beats Tomas Berdych for the second time in six days as he secures a place in the semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Nick Kyrgios has caused another upset to Tomas Berdych by beating the Czech for the second time in six days.

The controversial Australian tennis star sealed a 6-4 6-4 victory over the world number seven to reach the semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships on Thursday.

Last week the 20-year-old overcame Berdych in straight sets in Marseille, and eventually claimed the title - the first of his career.

During today's quarter-final in Dubai Kyrgios required treatment on his back, but he managed to come through and win the match having broken just twice.
