Marion Bartoli cruised into the last eight of the Sony Ericsson Open with a convincing 6-1 6-2 win over Maria Kirilenko in Miami.
Bartoli broke Kirilenko's serve an impressive six times during the contest, which was her fourth victory in a row over the Russian.
The Italian romped to a 6-1 win in the first set despite converting just 54% of her first serves.
It was this inconsistency that gifted Kirilenko a break in the early stages of the second set, but former Wimbledon finalist Bartoli responded well to take it 6-2 and wrap up victory in just over an hour.
The number seven seed will face either world number on Victoria Azarenka or Dominika Cibulkova in the quarter-finals.
