Grigor Dimitrov secures quarter-final spot at Queen's

Grigor Dimitrov reaches the quarter-finals at Queen's following a straight-sets win over Edouard Roger-Vasselin.

Grigor Dimitrov will play in the quarter-finals at Queen's after securing a 7-6(3) 6-4 victory over Edouard Roger-Vasselin.

Dimitrov drew first blood by making the most of his second break-point opportunity to take a 3-1 lead in the opening set.

Roger-Vasselin managed to bounce back with a break of his own and instantly held to save two set points, despite being pushed to the limit.

A tie-break was needed to decide the leader, and Dimitrov was the one who did enough to seal it 7-3 to take the set.

Games went by way of serve in the second set until Dimitrov edged to a crucial break point, which was enough for him to push on and wrap up the match.
