Marcos Baghdatis injury sends Stanislas Wawrinka through at Queen's

Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka is through to the third round at Queen's after Marcos Baghdatis retired with a shoulder injury.

Stanislas Wawrinka has progressed to the third round of the Aegon Championships at Queen's after Marcos Baghdatis was forced to retire from their match after just five games.

The Australian Open champion had a 3-2 lead when the Cypriot suffered a shoulder injury while hitting a forehand during the sixth game.

Despite several minutes of treatment from the trainer, the world number 118, who was announced as a Wimbledon wildcard earlier today, was unable to continue with the match.

The top seed will face America's Sam Querrey in the third round.
