David Nalbandian has received the maximum fine of £8,000 for injuring a line judge during the Queen's final.

The Argentina professional was forced out of the final by default after kicking an advertising hoarding after losing a point against Marin Cilic, which cut the leg of line judge Andre McDougall.

The 30-year-old was a set up in the match but lost a break of serve in the second before his outburst, which cost him the final and the maximum fine penalty by the ATP.

Nalbandian is also under police investigation after a complaint of alleged assault was lodged following the incident.
