Serbian Open removed from ATP Tour

The Serbian Open has been removed from this year's ATP Tour calendar.

The Belgrade-based event had been staged for the previous four years following its creation by the parents of world number one Novak Djokovic.

However, declining attendances have seen financial backers pull out of the tournament.

Italian world number 23 Andreas Seppi lifted last season's trophy with a win over Benoit Paire.
