Andy Roddick, John Isner to meet in Atlanta semi-finals

Andy Roddick and John Isner will meet in the semi-finals of the Atlanta Tennis Championships after they both won their last-eight matches in straight sets.

Roddick eased through with a 6-3 6-4 victory over Michael Russell, while John Isner saw off the challenge of teenager Jack Sock with a 7-6 6-4 win.

Japan's Go Soeda produced the shock of the quarter-finals with a comprehensive 6-2 6-1 triumph over his higher-ranked countryman Kei Nishikori.

He will now face Gilles Muller in the semi-finals, after the Luxembourg player beat Australia's Matthew Ebden 6-4 6-4.
