Rafael Nadal: 'I'm not thinking about matching Roger Federer's record'

Nadal: 'Nowhere near matching Federer'

Rafael Nadal has insisted that he is not thinking about matching or overtaking Roger Federer's Grand Slam title record.

The Swiss pro has 17 Grand Slam single titles to his name, while Nadal notched up his tally to 12 with Sunday's victory in the French Open final.

"Roger Federer's 17 Grand Slam titles seem light years away to me," Marca quotes Nadal as saying. "I'm not even thinking about that right now."

The Spaniard has eight titles from Roland Garros, as well as two Wimbledon wins, a US Open crown and an Australian Open title.
