Andy Murray feels he's "harder to beat" following win over Marin Cilic

Andy Murray says that he is "harder to beat" following his straight-sets win over Marin Cilic in the quarter-finals of the China Open in Beijing.

Andy Murray believes that he is finding consistency ahead of his semi-final clash against world number one Novak Djokovic at the China Open in Beijing.

The Scotsman made his way into the final four with a convincing 6-1 6-4 win over Marin Cilic in today's quarter-finals.

"It was a good win," said Murray. "First set I didn't make many errors. I played solid. I returned well. I moved well throughout the match. Second set, both of us had some opportunities.

"From my side anyway, there were a few more errors in the second set. But I stayed tough in the important moments and managed to get a good win.

"It's just starting to become a little bit more consistent again. I feel like I'm harder to beat just now than I was. At the beginning part of the year, I was quite up and down and inconsistent. But I'm starting to build some momentum, get that consistency back. That equals good wins against better opposition."

Murray, who won the US Open in 2012 and Wimbledon the following year, clinched the Shenzhen Open title last week.
