Murray enjoys Djokovic rivalry

Andy Murray has said that he enjoys playing against world number one Novak Djokovic.

The pair have played against each other 17 times on the ATP Tour, with the Serb winning 10 times.

The British number one told Sky Sports News: "Never in any matches have I had any problems with him, or in practice. We've never had any issues with each other the whole time we've been on the tour.

"I think after the matches we've played over the last year or so, our respect for one another has probably grown.

"When I do play against him it's a match I enjoy. If I get to play Novak [at the Australian Open] that would mean it would be in the final so obviously that's what I would like to do. But I know how hard it is to get to the latter stages of these events."

Djokovic has beaten Murray twice in their three clashes in Grand Slams, with the Scot's sole victory coming in the final of the US Open last year.
