Roger Federer looks ahead to grass-court season after French Open exit

Federer looks to grass-court season

Roger Federer has insisted that he is moving on from his French Open disappointment and looking ahead to the grass-court season.

The Swiss pro was booted out of the tournament in Paris in straight sets at the hands of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga yesterday.

Despite his loss, Federer is optimistic about his chances in Halle, as well as Wimbledon, where he will be defending his singles crown.

"I look forward to other things," the London Evening Standard quotes Federer as saying. "I love the grass-court season. Especially as it's been 10 years since my first Wimbledon victory. So I'm looking forward to coming back to Halle and Wimbledon, where I did the double 10 years ago. I'm sure it's going to be a nice swing."

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are in action today at Roland Garros for their respective quarter-final matches.
