Roger Federer accepts a wildcard to play in this month's Swiss Open.
Roger Federer has accepted a wildcard to play in the Swiss Open later this month.
The 31-year-old's last appearance at the tournament in Gstaad came in 2004 when he beat Igor Andreev in the final.
The world number three played his first ATP event at the Swiss Open in 1998.
Federer recently suffered a second-round defeat to Sergiy Stakhovsky at Wimbledon.
