Alex Dolgopolov overcomes Antonio Veic in Miami

Alex Dolgopolov is into the third round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, Florida, following a straight-sets victory over Antonio Veic.

Dolgopolov was in trouble during the first set as his Croatian opponent found a break of serve.

However, the world number 18 broke the Croatian twice in quick succession as he claimed the set 6-4.

The second proved a far tighter affair as both players gave little away in the searing Florida heat.

With the set heading towards a tie-break, Dolgopolov found the crucial break of serve to take the set 7-5 and win the match.
