Novak Djokovic considers acting career

US Open winner Novak Djokovic has said that he is considering a career in acting.

The Serbian crowned an impressive year by winning his third Grand Slam of the season at Flushing Meadows on Monday, but the 24-year-old says he could see himself in the entertainment industry.

"I just think showbusiness is something that attracts me, that I really like watching, that I like being a part of. It's part of my personality," he said.

"This is the way I see things off the court...if I embrace them, if I accept them as something that can give me energy, that can make me happy, then it all goes in a positive direction. I will not interfere that with my professional life."

Djokovic's US Open title came after successes at Wimbledon and the French Open.
