Grigor Dimitrov has described his victory over Andy Murray in the Mexican Open semi-finals as the best win of his career.
The Bulgarian world number 22 fought from a set down on Friday to beat the two-time Grand Slam champion 4-6 7-6(5) 7-6(3).
"At the moment it feels like the best win of my career," Dimitrov told the ATP's official website.
"I always thought Andy was an unbelievable player. We all know how he competes. I was really happy with how I played today. I wanted to win badly."
Dimitrov's reward for defeating Murray is a clash with Kevin Anderson in Saturday's final.
