David Ferrer: 'No retirement plans'

David Ferrer has insisted that he has no intention of calling time on his tennis career.

The 33-year-old has struggled for form this season, particularly in the Grand Slams where his best showing was a quarter-final appearance at the French Open.

However, the Spaniard has revealed that he would like to continue playing for another "two or three years".

"My fitness level is good. I want to play another two or three years more. My motivation level is the same as a 20-year-old player," he told reporters.

Ferrer is currently eighth in the race for a place at the ATP World Tour Finals at London's O2 Arena in November.
