Murray pleased with "positive" start

Andy Murray has revealed that he is pleased with his opening victory over Edouard Roger-Vasselin at the Monte Carlo Masters.

The world number two defeated his French opponent 6-1 6-4 on Wednesday to book his place in the third round of the tournament.

"I think he was a bit nervous, didn't move that well at the beginning and then he started to play better," Murray told Sky Sports News.

"He was getting a lot of balls back and I tried to attack as much as I could. It's a positive and good start."

Murray will meet Swiss world number 17 Stanislas Wawrinka for a place in the quarter-finals.
