World number four David Ferrer withdraws from the upcoming Monte Carlo Masters through injury.

David Ferrer has pulled out of the upcoming Monte Carlo Masters through injury.

The Spanish world number four has not revealed the specific details of his fitness concerns.

"Unfortunately I will not be able to be in Monte Carlo because of physical problems," Ferrer told his official website.

The Monte Carlo Masters gets underway on Sunday.
