Jo-Wilfried Tsonga made part of French Olympic team

World number five Jo-Wilfried Tsonga leads a four-man French contingent at the London Olympics.

The French Tennis Federation have confirmed that Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will spearhead their quest for a gold medal at the London Olympics later this year.

Tsonga, who is currently nursing a finger injury that could rule him out of Wimbledon, has automatically qualified for the Games because of his world number five ranking.

He will be joined in the team by compatriots Gilles Simon, Gael Monfils and Richard Gasquet, all of whom are currently ranked in the top 20.

Tsonga missed out on the last Olympics in Beijing because of a knee injury.
