Tennis rained off for the day at Wimbledon

The Olympic tennis has been called off for the day at Wimbledon following bad weather.

A number of matches had been disrupted during Sunday's play as thunderstorms descended on the All England Club.

Despite covers being used on the courts, officials have now decided that the surfaces are too slippery to play on.

Play is expected to resume at 11.30am tomorrow (Monday).
