Andy Murray has become the first Great British tennis player to have his place in the Olympics confirmed.
The 25-year-old has been handed an automatic place in the Games because he currently holds a place in the world's top 56 for singles players.
On that basis, Murray will play in the singles event, as well as teaming up with his brother Jamie for the doubles.
Fellow Brits Anne Keothavong, Elena Baltacha, Heather Watson, Laura Robson, James Ward, Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins are not currently high enough in the rankings to earn a slot in the squad.
As a result, they are all relying on wildcards from the International Tennis Federation.
