Milos Raonic survives early scare to overcome Alexandr Dolgopolov

Milos Raonic sees off Alexandr Dolgopolov of the Ukraine in straight sets at Indian Wells.

Milos Raonic has reached the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells for the third year in a row after beating Alexandr Dolgopolov in straight sets.

The Ukrainian gave the Canadian an early scare, matching him throughout the opening set and forcing a tie-breaker, which Raonic dominated 7-2.

The second was more comfortable for Raonic as he broke Dolgopolov a single time on his way to taking it 6-4.

Raonic will play the winner of the contest between Tommy Robredo and Grigor Dimitrov for a place in the quarter-finals.
