Rafael Nadal advances into fourth round

Rafael Nadal has advanced into the fourth round in Indian Wells following a 6-1 6-4 victory over Marcel Granollers.

Nadal secured the opening set in under 30 minutes, with Granollers struggling to come to terms with his fellow Spaniard's pace of play.

The world number one found the second set more of a contest, however, as Granollers began to show his agility around the court to stay within a break.

Nadal displayed some wonderful energy late in the match, however, and eventually secured the victory with an ace.
