Novak Djokovic happy with "great performance"

World number one Novak Djokovic insists that he put in a "great performance" to beat Marcos Baghdatis at Indian Wells.

Novak Djokovic believes that he produced a "great performance" during his 6-1 6-3 victory over Marcos Baghdatis at Indian Wells.

The Serb raced into a one-set lead and, despite facing more resistance from his Cypriot opponent in the second, he eventually won through in one hour and one minute.

"[It was a] a great performance against a quality opponent, against somebody that was a former top 10 player and that knows how to play on a big stage," the world number one told reporters.

"[I have] no complaints. Everything was working well from the beginning to the end."

Next up for Djokovic is a third-round clash against Albert Ramos-Vinolas.
