Heather Watson out of French Open

Britain's Heather Watson has been defeated in straight sets by Germany's Julia Goerges in the second round of the French Open.

Despite finding a couple of breaks, the 20-year-old lost three service games as she relinquished the first set 6-3.

Watson fought hard in the second, but the powerful Goerges closed out the match 6-4.

The world number 27 will now face the Arantxa Rus in the next round.
