Maria Sharapova has cruised through to the last 16 of the French Open with a comfortable straight-sets win over Ayumi Morita.
The Russian dominated the contest from start to finish, losing only eight points behind her serve and breaking her opponent at will.
Sharapova completed the 6-1 6-1 victory in exactly one hour's play on Court Suzanne Lenglen.
