Samantha Stosur deflated after Sara Errani defeat

Samantha Stosur has admitted that she didn't do enough to beat Sara Errani during her French Open semi-final defeat on Thursday.

Despite losing the first set, the US Open winner dominated the second before falling short in the decider.

"It was hard. It was too up and down, it wasn't continuous enough," the Australian told reporters.

"I didn't do enough. I'm capable of doing more and it didn't happen for whatever reason."

Errani's first Grand Slam final will be against Maria Sharapova on Sunday after the Russian saw off Petra Kvitova in straight sets.
