Nadal: 'I don't feel like the favourite'

Rafael Nadal has admitted that he does not feel like the favourite ahead of this afternoon's French Open final.

The Spaniard is bidding for his eighth title at Rolland Garros when he faces David Ferrer later today.

He says that it will be good for Spain to have two finalists and admits that he will not underestimate his opponent.

"It will be a great day for sport in Spain," said Nadal. "It's very difficult to have two Spanish players in the final, so it's fantastic news.

"I don't feel like the favourite. I feel that I am a finalist. I arrived to the final playing well. I improved a little bit in every match during the tournament.

"[Ferrer] is a player that brings you to the limit. He's a player that if you are not playing perfect, you will be in big, big trouble."

Nadal takes on Ferrer at 2.10pm this afternoon.
