The French Open final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic is suspended until Monday due to rain in Paris.

The French Open final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic has been suspended until Monday due to rain in Paris.

The players were called off after three sets during Sunday's play before officials decided to put a halt to proceedings.

They will return to Court Phillipe Chatrier at 12pm tomorrow.

Defending champion Nadal had won the first two sets 6-4 6-3 before Djokovic launched a comeback to take the third 6-2.

The Serbian world number one found a break in the fourth to lead 2-1 when play was stopped.
