Dominika Cibulkova confident after Victoria Azarenka triumph

Dominika Cibulkova has revealed that she is full of confidence following her surprise win over Victoria Azarenka at the French Open on Sunday.

The Slovakian caused arguably the upset of the tournament so far by defeating the world number one in straight sets to reach the quarter-finals.

"I have this confidence that I really needed for a long time and I think the confidence on this level is the most important thing," she said.

"So of course I believe [that I can win the competition] but I just need to keep this level."

The world number 16 will now face Australian Samantha Stosur for a place in the semi-finals.
