John Isner sends Richard Gasquet out in Cincinnati

Isner sends Gasquet out

Big-serving John Isner has blasted Richard Gasquet out of the Cincinnati Open in straight sets.

The American took just over 80 minutes to dispose of the Frenchman, which will see him take on the winner of Milos Raonic and Janko Tipsarevic in the next round.

Neither man was able to break in a tight first set, which Isner edged 8-6 in the tie-breaker.

However, a superb display of serving in the second set saw him race into a 4-0 lead. In total, he won 91% of points on his first serve.

Fittingly, it was an ace that wrapped up the second set 6-2.
