Juan Martin del Potro overcomes Victor Troicki challenge

Juan Martin del Potro has booked his place in the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Open with a three-set victory over Victor Troicki.

The sixth seed won a tie-break 7-2 to claim the opening set but went down 2-6 to the Serbian in the second.

However, the Olympic bronze medallist rallied to brush his opponent aside 6-1 in the decider.

Del Potro will face either defending champion Andy Murray or Jeremy Chardy in the next round.
