Victoria Azarenka seals semi-final berth

Victoria Azarenka has defeated Caroline Wozniacki in their quarter-final match at the Cincinnati Open.

The Belorussian won her way through to the last four, where she will play Jelena Jankovic, in an hour and 52 minutes on Centre Court.

After taking the first set 6-3, Azarenka was pushed to a tie-break in the second, which she won 7-5 to seal her progress.

The 24-year-old has won four of her seven meetings against semi-final opponent Jankovic.
