Djokovic dominates Mahut

Novak Djokovic dominates Nicolas Mahut in the third round, with a straight-sets victory over the Frenchman.

Novak Djokovic continues his defence of the Australian Open title after easily beating Nicolas Mahut in straight sets 6-0 6-1 6-1.

The number one seed completely dominated the first set, breaking the Frenchman's serve throughout to take it 6-0.

The second set showed a slight improvement for Mahut, but Djokovic was still far superior and controlled the court from start to finish in a 6-1 win.

The Serbian finished the match with a classy performance in the third set, which he again claimed 6-1.

This win continues Djokovic's fine run of form as he heads into the fourth round of the Australian Open.
