Sorana Cirstea shocks Sam Stosur

Sam Stosur suffered a shock exit in the first round of the Australian Open at the hands of Sorana Cirstea.

Cirstea surprisingly took the first set from the favourite Stosur in a tight opening that ended 7-6.

The US Open champion continued to struggle with Cirstea and eventually lost the second set 3-6.

The Australian is now out of the tournament while Cirstea heads into the next round.
