Victoria Azarenka reaches fourth round

Victoria Azarenka has made it through to the fourth round of the Australian Open with a straight-sets victory over Germany's Mona Barthel.

The Belarusian took the first set with relative ease as she claimed it 6-2.

Barthel put up slightly more resistance in the second, but the world number three found the vital break to take the set 6-4.

Azarenka will face world number 45 Iveta Benesova in the next round.
