Wozniacki pleased with "fighting spirit"

Caroline Wozniacki has said that she is pleased with her "fighting spirit" against Christina McHale in the second round of the Australian Open.

The 23-year-old Dane got the better of her opponent 6-0 1-6 6-2 on Thursday.

"I started off really well, I was very aggressive in the first set, she stepped it up a little bit [in the second set]," she said.

"In the third set I just tried to fight for every point. I think my fighting spirit today pulled me through."

Wozniacki will face Garbine Muguruza in the third round of the tournament.
