Laura Robson suffers injury setback

British number one Laura Robson is forced to withdraw from the Hobart International in Australia due to a recurring wrist problem.

British number one Laura Robson has been forced to pull out of the Hobart International in Australia due to a recurring wrist injury.

The 19-year-old retired during her first-round match against Yanina Wickmayer on Monday with the same problem that saw her withdraw from last week's ASB Classic in Auckland.

Robson, who is ranked 46th in the world, could now be a doubt for the upcoming Australian Open in Melbourne.

The first Grand Slam of the 2014 season gets underway at Melbourne Park on January 13.
