Watson 4-6 PervakSET! Watson just isn't going for her shots. It's cross court or nothing at the moment and it's all too predictable. Pervak isn't exactly playing stunning tennis either, but was gifted the set by Watson.

5.12amTHREE BREAK POINTS PERVAK
5.12amSET! Ito 6-3 3-6 Baghdatis
Watson *4-4 PervakBREAK! She only needs one as Pervak can only find the net with a backhand. Watson seems to be playing within herself, though. Not really going for her shots with the conviction needed.
5.09amTwo double faults in a row from Pervak gives Watson two break points.
5.09amSET! Bartoli 7-6 Dolonc
5.08amMaria Joao Koehler (POR) and Jelena JAnkovic (SRB) are now underway on court number two.

Watson *2-2 PervakBREAK! Two over-hit forehands at the end of that game gift Watson the break back! They were the first real errors from her racquet, and came at an unfortunate time for her.
4.46amBREAK POINT WATSON
4.45amWatson works her way into the point nicely, but fires a backhand into the net. She gets frustrated with herself.
4.43amSET! Youzhny 6-3 [4]6-7 2-6 Donskoy
4.42amSET! Ito 6-3 Baghdatis

4.38amIt's 30-0 and Watson is yet to win a point...

4.26amSET! Ferrer 6-0 7-5 Smyczek
4.22amSo now it's time for Heather Watson. She came back from a set down and stomach cramps to win her first-round match against Alexandra Cadantu. There's plenty to like about the 20-year-old from Guernsey.

The Daily Mail tennis correspondent Mike Dickson believes that she has her work cut out (Twitter): "Long match prior to Heather Watson. Hope I'm wrong but think that Pervak may be a tougher opponent than some expect."

Devvarman 7-6[10] 6-3 1-6 0-6 JanowiczSET! Devvarman fills up on the fresh bagel that's just been handed to him by Janowicz. This is one-way traffic. We're all square and going to a fifth.
3.16amJanowicz can't half generate some power on that forehand. Give the lad a chance, won't you Jerzy. Ruthless hitting.
Devvarman 7-6[10] 6-3 1-6 *0-5 JanowiczIt's now a case of Devvarman avoiding a bagel. It's been a 'Jekyll & Hyde' performance from Janowicz. His temperament was questionable during the first two sets, and he even had a bit of an on-court tantrum. He looks a different player now, although the Indian has faded dramatically.
3.11amEkaterina Makarova (RUS) and Stephanie Foretz Gacon (FRA) are underway on court number six.

Devvarman 7-6[10] 6-3 1-6 0-2* JanowiczBREAK! This signs look ominous for Devvarman now as he loses ground early in the fourth. Janowicz has built up a head of steam now. It was a fantastic point by the Pole, very well constructed. His forehand is a frightening piece of weaponry.
2.54amTRIPLE BREAK POINT JANOWICZ
2.54amJanowicz crushes a backhand from Devvarman's second serve. He got everything behind that and I wouldn't be surprised if the Indian's racquet is still rattling in his hand.

Devvarman 7-6[10] 6-3 *0-2 JanowiczThe Pole consolidates the break, but had a bit of trouble in doing so.
2.19amJanowicz saves two break points to get to deuce.
Devvarman 7-6[10] 6-3 0-1* JanowiczJanowics breaks in the first game of the third. I'm still smelling five sets. Watch this space.
2.17amLi Na and Olga Govortsova are underway on Hisense.

2.01amGAME, SET AND MATCH! Almagro 6-4 6-1 6-2 Gimeno-Traver
Devvarman 7-6[10] *2-3 JanowiczThe Pole holds to edge ahead.
1.58amJanowicz shows why he was good enough to beat Andy Murray in Paris last year with an absolutely crushing forehand. Sickening power.
Devvarman 7-6[10] 2-2* JanowiczWe're going to dive right into the match between Devvarman and Janowicz, which has all the makings of a five-setter. We're on serve in the second with Devvarman a set to the good. Heather Watson follows this match.
Goerges *3-0 OprandiThe German quickly races into a first-set lead.

1.38amBegu loses a challenge and now faces match point.
1.37amDeuce.
1.36amRadwanska reaches a drop shot, but again she opts for the wrong shot. She tried to go cross court instead of down the line, and Begu held her nerve to prod into the empty court.
1.35amSET! Savinykh 7-6[6] Cibulkova
1.34amSET! Devvarman 7-6[10[ Janowicz
Radwanska 6-3 5-3* BeguThis is by no means vintage Radwanska. Her shot selection has left a lot to be desired, but she holds serve to go within a game of victory.

1.06amQuality. Just, quality. Radwanska hits a running cross-court forehand that you just have to sit back and applaud.
1.05amAs I say that, Begu shoos the trainer away and we're ready for the second set. No more strapping, curiously. She serves first.
1.04amBegu still has the trainer on court. She's getting a very deep massage and there's a degree of concern regarding the future of this match.
1.03amGAME, SET AND MATCH! Flipkens 6-1 6-0 Zakopalova The Belgian destroys her opponent, dropping just one game as she become the first person through to the third round. Very well done.

Radwanska 0-1* BeguBREAK! Begu finally gets the break of serve to edge in front!
12.20amBrilliant rally! It's Begu dictating these early points, putting a volley away for another break point. This time Radwanska takes the front foot and saves it, rather than Begu wasting.
