Hwang Kyung Sun wins women's -67kg gold

South Korea's Hwang Kyung Sun has won gold in the women's -67kg taekwondo final this evening.

Hwang faced Turkey's Tartar Nur in the gold medal bout, and the Korean started well in round one with a 5-3 win. Hwang moved clear of her rival in the second round, taking it 6-1.

The final round was more even, ending 1-1 to give Hwang a 12-5 win overall.

Paige McPherson of USA and Germany's Fromm Helena both won their bronze medal bouts to take joint third place.
