Second Commonwealth Games gold for England's Ben Proud

Ben Proud wins his second gold medal of the Glasgow Games by finishing ahead of Australian duo Cameron McEvoy and James Magnussen.

England's Ben Proud has won his second gold medal of the 2014 Commonwealth Games having come out on top in the men's 50m freestyle.

The 19-year-old won his country's first gold of Glasgow 2014 in the pool last week in the men's 50m butterfly, setting a new Games record along the way.

Proud finished with a time of 21.92s to edge out Australia's Cameron McEvoy, who was 0.08s slower, while James Magnussen took bronze.

England have now won nine swimming gold medals at the 2014 Commonwealths.
