France's Valerian Sauveplane wins gold in 50m rifle 3 positions

France's Valerian Sauveplane has won the 50m rifle three positions gold medal at the European Games in Baku.

He scored 456.2 over 13 shots, seeing off nearest rival Petar Gorsa of Croatia by 2.2 points.

Belarus's Vitali Bubnovich won bronze (444.5) to add to his gold medal in the 10m air rifle competition.

Sauveplane came second in the three positions at the European Championships in 2013.
