Dan Rivers seals shooting bronze

Dan Rivers has won England's 18th medal at the Commonwealth Games after claiming a bronze in his 10m air rifle shooting event.

The Didcot marksman, who retained his British air rifle title back in February, beat out his competitors to seal a third-place finish in one of his small-bore events.

Rivers's exploits takes Team England to within two of the 20-medal mark following a hugely successful day one of the competition on Thursday.
