Warburton left out for Wales

Former Wales skipper Sam Warburton has been left on the bench for the Autumn International clash with Samoa on Friday.

Justin Tipuric has replaced Warburton at open-side flanker, with Ryan Jones taking on the role of captain for the match at the Millennium Stadium.

Eight changes have been made from the defeat to Argentina last weekend as Dan Biggar and Mike Phillips form the half-back pairing and Ashley Beck replaces Scott Williams.

Meanwhile, Bradley Davies, Paul James and Richard Hibbard are also named in the starting side for the key encounter.

Wales in full:

Leigh Halfpenny; Alex Cuthbert, Ashley Beck, Jamie Roberts, George North; Dan Biggar, Mike Phillips; Paul James, Richard Hibbard, Aaron Jarvis, Bradley Davies, Ian Evans, Ryan Jones, Justin Tipuric, Toby Faletau
