George North insists that Wales will "enjoy" their bronze medal match against Australia on Friday.

Teenager George North has revealed that Wales will be aiming to exit the World Cup on a high note when they meet Australia in the bronze medal match on Friday.

Warren Gatland's side will take on the Wallabies after the teams fell to defeats against France and New Zealand respectively.

Instead of dwelling on their failure to reach the final, North has insisted that the Welsh will "enjoy" the match against their Australian counterparts.

"This is a young group of guys, and the way we are playing we are just enjoying our rugby. That is going to be the key for us looking to the future," said the 19-year-old.

"Everyone is excited to get a chance to play against a southern hemisphere side down in New Zealand. It is a great opportunity.

"Hopefully, it won't just be a boring three-all game. Hopefully, it will be a good game to finish with, have a crack and enjoy it."

Gatland has made three changes from the side that lost to the Kiwis last weekend.
