Warren Gatland admits concern over Wales job future

Warren Gatland has admitted that he fears for his future as Wales head coach, with the man who appointed him due to step down later this year.

Roger Lewis, who has been in his role as chief executive of the Welsh Rugby Union since 2006, announced earlier today that he will move aside at the end of the World Cup.

"His departure probably will have an effect on my position," Gatland is quoted as saying by The Express. "I've made a commitment to Welsh rugby until 2019 but other people make those decisions because professional sport is about results."

Wales recovered from their opening-game loss against England by beating Scotland 26-23 last time out to get off the mark in this year's Six Nations campaign.
