Saracens captain Steve Borthwick fit for Heineken Cup final

Saracens captain Steve Borthwick is declared fit for tomorrow's Heineken Cup final against Toulon on Saturday.

Saracens captain Steve Borthwick has been declared fit for Saturday's Heineken Cup final against Toulon.

The 34-year-old was expected to undergo a late fitness test after picking up a pectoral injury last weekend.

Borthwick suffered the problem during his side's victory over the Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership semi-finals.

Despite initial doubts over Borthwick's availability, Saracens have confirmed that the lock will lead the team in his regular second-row position tomorrow.
