Pierre Berbizier will leave his position as head coach of Racing Metro at the end of next month.

Former France scrum-half Pierre Berbizier has revealed that he will leave his position as head coach of Racing Metro at the end of next month.

The 54-year-old, who took charge of the French club in 2007, has admitted that he was left disappointed by 'false promises'.

Berbizier told L'Equipe: "I was named as consultant to the president with the title of general manager in charge of the sporting project, only without any mission or responsibility.

"Although I proposed some projects in line with the job, they were never validated."

Berbizier has also previously coached Italy.
