Leicester Tigers sign three forwards for next season

Leicester Tigers bring in three new forwards ahead of next season.

Leicester Tigers have confirmed that three forwards have joined the club ahead of next season.

Opeti Fonua, Mike Williams and Brendon O'Connor have all signed deals at Welford Road from London Welsh, Worcester Warriors and Auckland Blues respectively.

"Our priority is to have a strong finish to the current season, but alongside that we are also working hard on recruitment and retention of players in the squad ahead of next season," director of rugby Richard Cockerill told Leicester's official website.

"The back five in the scrum is an area where we have been looking to build strength in depth and I'm delighted that we can confirm three new signings for next season."

Leicester are back in action on Friday night when they host Gloucester Rugby in the Aviva Premiership.
