Leicester Tigers have announced that second-rower Geoff Parling has decided to commit his future to the club.
There were doubts over the 29-year-old's position at the club but it has been confirmed that Parling, who has featured 60 times for the Tigers, has agreed new terms.
Director of rugby Richard Cockerill told the club's official website: "We told Geoff that he has always been part of our plans going forward and it is very good news that he has decided to stay with us.
"He has been an important guy for us over the last four seasons and is now an established international player too. His decision shows the quality of the environment we have at Leicester Tigers and that plays a big part in players wanting to stay here."
Parling moved to the club from Newcastle Falcons over three years ago.
